Stone bathroom
The Bathroom Project in Ribamar (Ericeira) was one of the first works developed after arriving in Ericeira in 2021, conceived as a mono material intervention inspired by the King's Chamber of the Great Pyramid of Giza, the project never got built. It divides an existing interior space into two bathrooms, generated from a single spatial gesture. A continuous architectural line organises all technical infrastructure—water, drainage, and fixtures—into one coherent system, allowing the space to be read as a single constructed object. Entirely built in stone, including the sculpted sanitary elements, the project explores complete material presence, using local Ataíja Azul limestone to define both structure and finish.
