House in Mafra

The House in Mafra is set within a dense urban fabric, close to the Palácio Nacional de Mafra, on a corner plot defined by the limits of the masterplan. The building occupies the maximum allowable footprint, resolving its corner condition through a cantilevered terrace oriented to the west. This outdoor extension becomes a key living space, protected by brise-soleil elements that ensure privacy while modulating light and views. The interior layout follows a precise response to the client’s requirements, organised across two levels with clarity and efficiency.
