The Interior Renovation in Caldas da Rainha transforms a three-storey building in the historic city centre into a contemporary living space while preserving its structural essence. The project works within the existing spatial framework, reinforcing the original character while introducing clarity, light, and functional reorganisation across all levels. Each floor is reinterpreted to create a fluid domestic sequence, balancing privacy and openness. New material interventions are carefully integrated to respect the building’s memory while upgrading its spatial quality. The result is a quiet yet precise renovation that bridges heritage and contemporary living within the evolving urban fabric of Caldas da Rainha.
