Interior Design Renovation

Commissioned by a young family expecting a new child, this project reimagines a two-storey 1990s house in Santo Isidoro, Ericeira, as a refreshed and contemporary domestic space. The intervention focuses on opening up the interior, improving spatial flow and natural light through enlarged openings and a more continuous relationship between rooms. A new material palette of wood flooring and microcement bathrooms introduces warmth and simplicity, while the kitchen and key interior details are fully redesigned to enhance daily living. The result is a brighter, more cohesive atmosphere that updates the existing structure without erasing its original character, adapting it to a new stage of family life.
