Yoga Studio
The Yoga Studio in Vietnam is conceived as a spatial oasis, an atmospheric transition from the dense urban context of Ho Chi Minh Cuty. Developed within an existing structure, the project transforms a rigid architectural framework into a sequence of calm and focused environments dedicated to yoga practice and wellbeing.
The design works through subtraction and soft insertion, opening the interior to natural light and cross-ventilation while introducing curved partitions, translucent layers, and continuous surfaces that dissolve the boundaries between spaces. Movement through the studio becomes a gradual progression of changing light conditions, framed views, and shifting spatial compression, guiding the body through a quiet architectural flow.
Material choices are restrained and tactile, enhancing focus and sensory calm, while maintaining a strong dialogue with the existing structure. The result is a space where architecture becomes an instrument for stillness, awareness, and internal balance within the intensity of the city.
The building unfortunately was demolished in 2024.
